In writing my first memoir, The Likely Adventures of a Childhood Sexual Abuse Victim, I’ve run into my fair share of Nay-Sayers. But yesterday, I was truly blessed by the message aired from @JoelOsteen.  He pointed to Acts 13:36 to illustrate that we are only here to fulfill God’s purpose – no one else’s.

 “Not every person is going to understand you.”

That simple statement blessed me to move forward, and shake ’em off. Hopefully, it will bless some of you too.
